The new timber wharf on the eastern end of the marina is really taking shape now. A few more weeks and the job will be complete. Local treated hardwood secured by thousands of stainless screws. Steve Abbott is doing a great job!

The first stage of the replacement of the main deck is now compete and access to the floating marina via the main ramp is now open. Remember however this is still a building site and will be for some weeks to come so everyone needs to be careful. The deck structure is treated local hardwood and each plank is individually laid.

We have begun major works on the timber wharf at the eastern end of the marina. This means that for an extended period the wharf will be out of bounds. We have installed temporary fencing to keep the site safe. In the short-term access to the marina will be via the ramp in front of the Marina Cafe. Sorry for any problems this may cause. Access is still available for trolleys etc via the Cafe ramp. The safety fence will be relocated as the works progress. All the wharf timbers are being replaced with new treated hardwood timber planks.

Spring is just around the corner. Lets hope the rain has gone and the sunshine is here to stay. Our travel lift has a new lease of life with a new engine and major upgrades to all moving parts.  Call the marina to book in for time on the hardstand to get the boat ready for summer. Remember we only lift on Monday to Friday BUT you can work on your boat 7 days a week. Call Graham for any advice you need – 02 6646 9898.

Look at the colour of the sky and the water at the marina today. Perfect.

We’d like to remind all our customers of the need for safety on the marina. If you are using bikes, electric or man-powered please DO NOT ride them on the marina walkways or fingers. It has come to our notice that some customers are riding bikes to get to and from their boats. PLEASE DO NOT DO this. Just push the bike until you leave the floating section of the marina.

Also…we like dogs….but all dogs must be on a lead when moving around the floating marina and marina grounds. The combination of dogs off leads and people riding bikes on the marina can be very dangerous.

This boat owner got into a big of trouble. He’s OK now….safe at Yamba Marina

The weather is perfect to work on your boat in the cooler winter months. Call the office and book in a lift- out for your annual boat overhaul. Yamba is beautiful right now.

Always be on the lookout for moving vehicles when you visit the marina and the hardstand. The yard is very busy and you must take extra care at all times. Your safety is important to us.
