BIG JOB TO START THE WEEK!!
This lady hasn’t been out of the water for about four years. We won’t show you her bottom because we are gentlemen!
But suffice to say she is living proof that boats need to be cared for on a regular basis. You actually save money by doing the work annually.
Nothing to do with Yamba Marina…but it is a great picture….
We just love this picture of billionaire Harry Triguboff and his two grandsons. Classic.
Days are getting shorter!!!
It’s Easter in about three weeks so if you are looking to visit Yamba in your boat let us know because berths are hard to come by. This year the Easter weekend is followed quickly by Anzac Day so many people will take an extended break.
Also if you need to lift your boat out to do some work on the hardstand call Graham to book in. It’s great working in the sunshine of Yamba!!!
BE STRONG NEW ZEALAND
Our thoughts are with you.
BP ULTIMATE FUEL AT YAMBA MARINA
It’s appropriate that a boat called “Pina Colada” took our first big load of Ultimate ULP fuel on board today. BP Ultimate is 98 per cent octane and helps engines run cleaner and improves fuel efficiency.
IT’S BLOWIN……..
The wind from cyclone Oma is quite strong. We’ve had gusts of over 70kmh today. Seas are big and will be for a while. We are keeping an eye on all the boats in the marina and on our moorings. Oma is quite fickle…just look at the BOM track!!!!
YAMBA – Growing up fast
We get asked a lot: What is happening in Yamba? The answer is…a lot. Real estate is hot, and cruising the Clarence River is being discovered by people from far and wide. There is land for sale and the latest is Yamba Quays. We know nothing about it…but the marketing picture tells the story. The marina is getting busier by the day and the coming completion of the Pacific Highway upgrade will change things dramatically. Why not with an outlook like this? Less than 90 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and under 45 minutes from Ballina Airport. Coffs Harbour will only be an hour away. The North Coast is ready for people who want to have fun in the warm sun. Bring your boat……it’s fabulous.
BP Ultimate Unleaded for Yamba Marina
The marina is upgrading its fuel with BP Ultimate 98 octane to be available from mid February. Ultimate 98 gives better performance with a deeper clean for your engine and it also guards against corrosion. BP Ultimate does NOT contain ethanol. It is the highest octane fuel BP has on the market. Better fuel all round.
Someone asked today if there is a new bridge over the Clarence River? ….IS THERE WHAT!
This is looking from the north- eastern side of the new Harwood Bridge…..$1.6 billion of engineering marvel. 30 metre clearance for the biggest masts. Not open to road traffic yet as all the connecting roads etc need to be finished. The second picture is from the north-western side of the bridge….showing the old bridge in the foreground.
